What is the Sculptra butt lift?
The Sculptra butt lift is an innovative use of the popular, long-lasting dermal filler Sculptra® Aesthetic. Our plastic surgeons inject small amounts of Sculptra into key locations on the buttocks to add volume in all the right places and enhance your natural curves—all without surgery and little-to-no downtime.
Unlike other fillers, Sculptra doesn’t rely solely on a gel to enhance volume; it stimulates your body to produce extra collagen, which is stronger, lasts longer, and is 100% natural. For the average patient, Sculptra butt lift results last about two years after the final treatment, and a periodic touch-up can maintain the results.

How do Sculptra buttock injections work?
To perform a Sculptra butt lift, your plastic surgeon or certified injector will determine how much Sculptra is needed to achieve your desired results and then identify injection points. Sculptra butt injections are made using a very thin needle, which reaches only just below the skin’s surface into the dermis—this is much safer than fat injections, which must reach deeper into the fat layer.
For your comfort, we will apply a topical anesthetic to the buttock area before treatment. Most patients feel only a mild pinching sensation as the injections are made. After the procedure, you can return to your normal activities right away. You may feel sore in your glutes for a couple of days, but you don’t have to take time off of exercise or even modify your sitting position.
How many treatments will I need?
Because Sculptra works by stimulating collagen production, the effects are gradual and cumulative. Most patients choose to have 2+ treatments to achieve their desired results. This may sound like a lot, but remember there’s no downtime after these treatments—all in all, you’re getting a fuller butt with only about 4 hours of your time total.
