CoolTone Non-Surgical Muscle Toning Atlanta
Wish you had a 6-pack? We have the tech to strengthen, tone, & firm your muscles
Tired of hitting the gym and not seeing results? We feel ya—and you’re certainly not alone. The truth is, sometimes no matter how much strength training you do, your genetics may be holding you back. And while committing to a daily work out will inevitably yield results, most of us don’t really have the time to do so.
Luckily, we live in an age where technology can fill in the gaps and help us get the look we want—and now that includes toned, sculpted muscles, thanks to CoolTone®.
What is CoolTone?
Developed by the makers of popular non-surgical fat reduction treatment CoolSculpting, CoolTone is a Magnetic Muscle Stimulation (MMS) device designed to improve muscle tone and strength for a sleeker, more athletic appearance.
Though CoolTone is not the first MMS device available, it is the strongest: compared to its leading competitor, it has 50% more magnetic intensity, measured in tesla.
How does CoolTone work?
The CoolTone device sends electromagnetic energy through layers of skin and fat to stimulate underlying muscles, which induces an involuntary muscle contraction at a rate of thousands of times per minute. When these contractions occur, your body responds by strengthening muscle fibers and improving muscle conditioning—just like what occurs when you do strength training. This results in the treated area growing stronger, firmer, and more toned.
Where can you use CoolTone?
Currently, CoolTone is FDA cleared for use on the abdomen, buttocks, and thighs. While additional areas may be cleared in the future, we’ve found that these areas are usually the primary concern of our patients.
CoolTone may also be used abdominally to help treat diastasis recti, an often uncomfortable separation of abdominal muscles common among moms after childbirth.
Does CoolTone hurt?
Your CoolTone treatment should not hurt, though some patients are startled by the strong muscle contractions. For some, this sensation is somewhat ticklish, while thinner patients may feel a bit more discomfort.
After a few minutes, your body should adapt to the rhythm of the contractions, and you’ll find the experience quite tolerable. Your entire treatment should take around half an hour, after which point you can resume your normal activities (though you’ll want to skip the gym!)
Does CoolTone have any side effects?
Side effects from CoolTone are typically mild and short-lived. Most commonly, patients may experience some muscle tenderness or spasming and slight redness of the skin. Most patients report that this feels like you’ve had an intense workout.
Women who are about to start their periods may experience some additional cramping during their cycle, so we recommend scheduling your treatment at least a week or so before or after you’re due to menstruate.
When will I see results after CoolTone?
Your CoolTone results will take around two months to take shape. For most patients, we typically recommend having four treatments over the course of about two weeks, though many patients report feeling increased core strength after their first treatment.
How long do CoolTone results last?
This will largely depend on you! Continuing a healthy diet and regular exercise routine is the best way to extend your results for years to come. If you put on extra weight, the accumulation of fat cells may camouflage the tone of your muscles or occur disproportionately in areas that haven’t been treated by CoolTone.
Maintenance treatments performed every three to six months will also help ensure your results last.
