Meet Medical Aesthetician & Laser Specialist Cici Schmidt

Cici Schmidt grew up in Suwanee, just down the road from Alpharetta, so joining The Swan Center felt less like a career move and more like coming home. After three and a half years building her skills inside some of Atlanta’s busiest medical aesthetics environments, she made the deliberate choice to bring that experience to a renowned plastic surgery practice.
“I wanted to push myself,” she says. “Learning under a plastics group is something I hadn’t done before, and it felt like an easy ‘yes’ from the moment I met everyone.”
That drive to keep growing is evident in how she works. Cici holds dual licensure as a medical aesthetician and assistant laser practitioner in Georgia and Florida, with deep hands-on experience in energy-based devices. Precision with light and laser is where her clinical curiosity lives, and she stays current through video seminars and in-person trainings as the technology evolves.
“I always tell my patients: less is more. Don’t get overwhelmed — and put down the magnifying mirror.” — Cici Schmidt
What Cici Treats Best
Patients consistently describe Cici as educational without being too intense about it. She takes time to explain what she’s seeing in your skin and why she’s recommending what she’s recommending, without turning a consultation into a lecture.
Her favorite concerns to work on are pigmentation and acne, and there’s a personal reason for that focus. Cici has dealt with melasma herself, which means she approaches those appointments with a level of patience and honesty that comes from actually living with the condition. She knows what it’s like to want the fastest results possible and why, sometimes, that instinct can work against you.
At The Swan Center, Cici offers:
- Sciton BBL
- SkinPen microneedling with exosomes, PRP and PDGF
- RF microneedling
- Hydrafacial
- Dermaplaning
- Chemical peels, including ViPeel and BioRePeel
- Custom facials
She also uses VISIA Complexion Analysis technology to capture a complete picture of your skin before making treatment recommendations, going well beneath the surface to assess sun damage, pore size, hydration and other factors that a visual exam alone won’t catch.
Cici’s Own Skin Routine
Cici doesn’t recommend anything she’s not doing herself. She gets a facial every month, microneedling and tox every quarter, and laser once a year. Day to day, she keeps it simple: Skinbetter for actives, Hydrinity for hydration. The one thing she won’t skip is SkinPen microneedling with exosomes, followed by a tinted Skinbetter SPF. “The results from that combo on my own skin are what made me a believer,” she says.
Outside the Treatment Room
When Cici isn’t at Swan, she’s outside. She lives on the lake with her fiancé and their two dogs, and weekends usually involve being on the water, going on walks or finding a new coffee shop somewhere around Atlanta. She’s an easy person to talk to in the treatment room, partly because she’s genuinely curious about people, and that comes through whether she’s traveling somewhere new or just catching up with patients she hasn’t seen in a while.
