Demo 04: Atlanta Breast Augmentation PPC
Like women, breasts comes in all sizes and shapes—and if you are unhappy with yours, there are options. Breast augmentation is one of the most popular cosmetic surgery procedures with some of the highest patient satisfaction ratings, and our Atlanta breast augmentation patients love their final results.
Breast augmentation is a great choice for women who want larger, more shapely breasts, or who wish to improve an asymmetrical breast appearance or defect. Because there is no one-size-fits-all solution to breast size and appearance, our physicians here at The Swan Center in Atlanta work closely with all of our patients to help determine the size, shape, and type (silicone or saline) of breast implant that will provide the best results based on a patient’s body proportions and desired look.
Every woman is unique, and your breast augmentation should reflect that.
What to Expect from Breast Augmentation Surgery
The first step in your breast augmentation process is sitting down for a private, complimentary consultation with one of our surgeons. During your consultation, you will have the opportunity to explore your options, hear more about what to expect from surgery, and work with your surgeon to determine the best breast implant options for you.
Your breast augmentation procedure will be performed at our on-site accredited surgical suite under general anesthesia. One of our experienced, board certified plastic surgeons will make an incision either underneath your breast in the natural fold, around the lower edge of your areola, or in the armpit (transaxillary). Your surgeon will discuss incision options with you and help you make an informed decision about the incision placement that is best for you during your private, complimentary consultation.
Through the incision, your chosen breast implants will be inserted either under your breast tissue or under your pectoral muscle. Your incisions will then be closed and dressed, and you will be able to return home the same day with a designated driver.
Breast Augmentation Recovery
After your procedure, you will return home in a protective elastic bra to help hold your healing breasts in the correct position. It is normal to experience some soreness for the first few days, and we will prescribe you an oral pain medication to help manage your discomfort. Your sutures will be removed within 7 to 12 days. Light activities can be resumed as tolerated, with more strenuous activities avoided for the first three weeks.
The specific risks and the suitability of breast augmentation for any give patient can be determined only at the time of consultation.
