Atlanta Breast Augmentation
If you wish you had larger, more shapely breasts, breast augmentation is the most effective and proven way to get curves you’ll love. Breast augmentation can also help if you have one breast that is noticeably smaller than the other (breast asymmetry).
Breast augmentation will let you increase your breast size, as well as improve the shape of your breasts. Many women say they feel much more confident after having breast augmentation surgery. The keys to success are having an experienced, board certified plastic surgeon and personalizing the procedure to fit your body.
Your current breast size, shoulder width, torso shape, and more will all play into the decisions you make with your doctor. Our surgeons here at The Swan Center work closely with their patients to help determine the size, shape, and type (silicone or saline) or breast implant that is best for each woman’s body. Every women is unique, and so careful consideration must be given to your unique body frame and desired outcome!
If you also have sagging, an additional procedure that can be performed at the same time to enhance the result of breast augmentation is a breast lift.

Swan Center staff members ❤ their curves
Here at The Swan Center, our patient coordinators are warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. A number of our “Swan Girls” know first-hand how breast augmentation can enhance your curves and your confidence—because they’ve experienced it personally! If you are considering breast augmentation or would like to learn more, don’t hesitate to ask one of our lovely staff members about her experience.
What is having breast surgery like?
First you will receive anesthesia to ensure you are relaxed and will not experience any discomfort during the procedure. At The Swan Center, we use board certified anesthesiologists and recommend general anesthesia for breast augmentation so that you will be asleep throughout the procedure; most women find this much more comfortable and less stressful. Your surgeon will make incisions according to the plans you together determined before surgery, then carefully insert the breast implants, adjusting placement to optimize your shape
You’ll wake up after the procedure and immediately notice your new shape. While you will be a bit sore and swollen, most of our patient report that post-surgical discomfort is easily tolerated with prescription medication. Once you have had some time to rest and we are sure all is well, you will be able to return home with your designated driver and caregiver, often a spouse, partner, or your “breast friend.”
Recovery after breast augmentation
After surgery, you will go home in an elastic bra. This bra will help hold the breasts in the correct position as you begin to heal. Any discomfort is easily controlled with oral medication. Light activities can be resumed as tolerated, and aerobic activities can be started in about 3 weeks. Most importantly, be sure to follow the personalized patient instructions we give before surgery and call us with any questions!
Paying for breast augmentation
Breast augmentation is considered a cosmetic procedure and is therefore not covered by insurance. Many of our patients finance the procedure, while others save up for it in advance. We can help you get approved for easy and convenient patient financing and our cosmetic consults are free, so there is no need for you to put off your procedure when you can start enjoying your new curves within a matter of weeks!
