The best candidate for mommy makeover surgery is a healthy, active individual who is done breastfeeding and has no plans for future pregnancies. While a mommy makeover will not impact your ability to have children in the future, another pregnancy can affect your results.

Typical Procedures in a Mommy Makeover

While every mommy makeover surgical plan is as unique as the individual patient, there are a few breast and body procedures that are frequently included in the surgery to achieve optimal results.

• Breast Lift: A breast lift is performed to correct sagging and to restore a rounder, more youthful breast shape. Because moms often experience a “deflated” breast appearance after breastfeeding, we may recommend a breast lift with augmentation. This procedure lifts the breasts and adds volume through the placement of breast implants.
• Tummy Tuck: This procedure is perfect for removing excess abdominal skin, localized fat, and even stretch marks. A tummy tuck can also repair the separation of abdominal muscles (diastasis recti), which can be an uncomfortable condition for some women.
